In 2005 after a year and a half of seclusion and studying the art of war, C-Rayz burns his cherished collection of 20 rhyme books and listens to over 1000 beat submissions with only 15 making the cut; he puts together his follow up sophomore album on "Definitive Jux" entitled "YEAR OF THE BEAST" 2007 onto the future has proven to be nothing but progress for Walz with the release of both "The Dropping" and "Chorus Rhyme" featuring the likes of Matisyahu, MF Doom, Vast Aire, and more. From then till now, C Rayz Walz has definitely carved his own unique niche in the world of hip hop's elite.
